Club Competition Sheets are posted

This year's Club Competition sheets are now posted on the Club noticeboard. This season, the usual four competitions have been augmented by a new tournament for old duffers. A Seniors Tournament has been added to the schedule and competitors will play for the 'Country Cup', a magnificent trophy donated by country member Graham McGee from Weegieland. So if you're over 55 (and over the hill) get your name down for this competition.

Carnoustie High School Rugby Club has invited the Masters to participate in an outing over the Buddon on April 12th in aid of their Club funds. The cost of the outing is £20 and details and application sheet are posted on the noticeboard. We are delighted to offer our support another local club in their fund-raising efforts so if you can manage, get your name down. It should be a great day out.

Grandparents celebrate

Mine hosts, Kathryn and Ivor became grandparents for the first time last weekend. The youthful grandparents celebrated in style with the news that a baby boy (James - we think) had been born to Christopher and Hui in Hong Kong earlier. Members of the Committee and proud great grandma Evelyn were on hand to join in with the celebrations. Of course, no drink was involved.  Congratulations to Chris and Hui from all at the Station Masters.
